Property Taxes

The Town of Sylva will accept cash, checks, money orders, MasterCard/Visa/Discover debit or credit cards for payments made in person at Town Hall.

Online Payment:  The Town of Sylva now has the option of paying taxes online.  Please click the button below to make an online payment.  A convenience fee applies to online transactions and an example is noted.

Please be advised if you use a card, the CONVENIENCE FEE of $.30 per transaction plus 2.5% of the total amount paid will be passed on to you. This is calculated the following way:

(Total amount due +.30)/(1-0.025)

For example on $100, the convenience fee would be $2.87.

($100 +.30)/.975 = $102.87
