Notice is hereby given that the Town of Sylva Board of Commissioners is seeking interested individuals to fill an upcoming Town Board vacancy. The successful candidate will be appointed by the Town Board at an open meeting and will serve until a successor, to be elected at the November 4, 2025 municipal election, takes office. Any interested persons must complete and submit the Application Packet for Commissioner Vacancy. Applications can be obtained by contacting Amanda Murajda at (828) 586-2719 or [email protected].  A resume must be included with the completed application.  Candidates must reside within the boundaries of the Town of Sylva.  Deadline: May 1, 2024.
